Opera Baltimore Announces New Leaders for Board of Directors

The organization revealed that David Paige has been appointed as Vice President and John Harris is now Meber-At-Large. Finally, Frank Mondimore has been elected President after three years and a previous position as board secretary.
Mondimore is the former director of the Mood Disorders Clinic at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Harris is a USMC veteran and well-known community organizer who has served in numerous leadership positions, including Vice-President of the Black Arts District and as a board member of HARBEL Community Organization. He was also a major player in building Opera Baltimore’s Civic Practice Division. Finally, Paige is a professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
“These appointments mark a significant milestone for Opera Baltimore,” said Julia Cooke, Artistic and General Director at Opera Baltimore, in an official press release. “With David Paige’s strategic insight, John Harris’s community-centric approach, and Frank Mondimore’s visionary leadership, we are poised to enhance our artistic offerings and deepen our connection with the Baltimore community.”
