Opera Australia is set to host a performance of “Opera Up Late” on Jan. 30, 2025.

The showcase, which combines comedy, cabaret, and opera, will be hosted by Reuben Kaye and will star Emma Matthews alongside Adam Player, Tomas Dalton, and Angela Hogan. Shaun Rennie directs the performance at the Joan Sutherland Theatre at the Sydney Opera House.

“’Opera Up Late’ has become one of my favourite nights of the year,” said Kaye per an official press release. “I’m thrilled that a legend like Emma Matthews is joining this impressive group of talented performers taking the stage to channel their inner sass and cheekiness. The audience is in for a treat, we’re going to have a lot of fun.” The event kicks off at 9:30 p.m. local time.
