Nicole Cabell, Kaitlin Foley, Kristin Knutson, Erica Schuller, Lindsay Metzger Headline Haymarket Opera’s 2022 Season

Haymarket Opera has announced its return to live performances in 2022.

The Chicago-based company will kick things off with Stradella’s “La Susanna,” live from the Gannon Concert Hall. The oratorio will star Kaitlin Foley, Kristin Knutson, Quinn Middleman, Aaron Wardell  and William Dwyer alongside such musicians as Craig Trompeter, Jeri-Lou Zike, Martin Davids, Brandon Acker, and Jason Moy.

Performance Date: March 26, 2022

That will be followed by Joseph Bologne’s “L’Amant Anonyme” at Jarvis Opera Hall. The cast will be headlined by international star Nicole Cabell. She will perform alongside Geoffrey Agpalo, David Govertsen, Erica Schuller, Michael Peter, and Nathalie Colas. Craig Trumpeter conducts a production directed by Sarah Edgar.

Performance Dates: June 17-19, 2022

Capping off the year will be a production of “L’Incoronazione di Poppea” by Monteveri. The cast will star Erica Schuller, Lindsay Metzger, Kimberly McCord, David Govertsen, Kristin Knuston, Michael Skarke, Elijah McCormack, and Sofia Troncoso, among others.

Performance Dates: Sept. 22-25, 2022
