
New York City Opera to Present Bryant Park Performances this Summer
By Francisco SalazarThe New York City Opera is set to return to Bryant Park Picnic Performances this summer.
The company will first present “Opera Goes to Hollywood,” which will include stars of the New York City Opera stage, accompanied by the City Opera Orchestra led by Maestro Constantine Orbelian, recreating favorite operatic movie moments.
Performance Dates: June & 26, 2025
The company will also present a fully staged version of Bizet’s classic “Carmen.”
Performance Dates: Sept. 4 & 5, 2025
Over the past years, the New York City Opera has performed a series of concerts and staged productions as part of the Park’s summer performance series. The company has presented “Lucia di Lammermoor,” “Rigoletto,” and “Tosca.”
