
New York Choral Society Board of Trustees Announces New Board Members

David Ash was formerly the CEO and General Counsel for Sam Ash Music Corporation, a 100 year old family owned musical instrument and professional audio business. Before joining Sam Ash, he practiced law at Rosenman, Colin, Kaye, Petschek, Freund & Emil.
Karen Bodner is the head of BNY’s Market Insights and Initiatives team, within the Depositary Receipts (DR) platform. She advises BNY’s DR issuer clients on equity markets, investor relations and sustainability topics. The team provides thought leadership. Prior to joining BNY, Bodner had 20 years of investment banking experience, helping issuers to effectively reach investors, lower their cost of capital and achieve their cross-border goals. Karen was previously the head of equity capital markets for Daiwa Capital Markets America.
Frances Rivera-Medero was a member of the Choir at the UPR School of Law, a performing ensemble made up entirely of law students that performed regularly at Law School events and hosted concerts for several years.She has practiced corporate law for almost 20 years after relocating to New York.
