New Music USA Announces 2024 Organization Fund Awardees

New Music USA has named 85 awardees for the New Music Organization Fund’s 2024 grant cycle.

This year, 702 applications were submitted. Grant seekers included music organizations, performance groups, dance organizations, festivals, presenters, and venues spanning 17 states. Applicants chose their preferred funding strand from one of the following categories: General Operating Support, Creation of New Work, or Live Music for Dance projects.

Applications were evaluated based on artist support and community involvement, as well as geographic diversity. In total, $613,500 was given in awards.

This program funds organizations working in a variety of genres to help them sustain their programming of new music, nurturing of music creators, and other services. The following recipients are representative of those in the classical voice field.
