On August 4, 2022, New Camerata Opera will present “Summer Concerts,” a free, live performance series of operatic favorites hosted by Chashama at Anita’s Way in New York City.

The concerts will feature promising soloists from NYC’s young opera companies as they serenade audiences in the outdoor venue.

Located in the space between 42^nd and 43^rd streets, Anita’s Way holds a number of theatrical and musical events.

Founded in 1996 by Anita Durst, Chashama pays tribute to the legacy of theatre visionary Reza Abdoh by helping companies and artists book affordable venues, and transform unused spaces into performance locales, in order to sustain a vibrant, cultural environment throughout the city.
