Nevill Holt Festival Announces 2024 Season

The Nevill Holt Festival has announced its 2024 schedule.

The season will open with a new production of Mozart’s iconic opera “The Magic Flute” featuring The Britten Sinfonia. The new production will see a cast of the UK young opera singers. The opera stars Nazan Fikret, Jonathan Eyers, Allen Michael Jones, Jasmine Flicker, Olivia Warburton, and Simon Sumal. Melly Still directs and Finnegan Downiee Dear directs.

The festival will then include concerts with Imogen Cooper & Sarah Connolly, Jeneba Kanneh-Mason, Benjamin Grosvenor, Max Richter’s Four Seasons, Pavel Kolesnikov & Samson Tsoy, Mary Bevan, Nicky Spence and Joseph Middleton in “A Most Marvellous Party,” and Michael Morpurgo reading War Horse with musical accompaniment, among others.

In a statement, James Dacre, Festival Director for Nevill Holt Festival 2024 said, “For three weeks next June, Nevill Holt will be alive with music, performance, conversation and celebration. The very best of the performing and visual arts as well as literature and conversation will all join together in this magical place to present a diverse, entertaining and unique Festival that I hope everyone will be proud of.”

The festival is set to take place between June 1 and 26, 2024
