National Council of the Arts to Meet on March 27

The National Council of the Arts is set to meet on March 27, 2024 in Washington D.C.

The event will feature the participation of numerous major arts organizations who will be featured in panels and discussions regarding the state of art in the U.S. The “How Did We Get Here?” panel, which explores the challenges modern art organizations, cultural venues, and companies, face and the strategies to move forward, will feature Anne Burridge, CEO of Austin Opera, among others. She is joined by members of such organizations as American Repertory Theatre, Atlanta Chinese Dance Company, and Stage Directors and Choreographers Society.

There will also be a “How Do We Go From Here?” which features panelists from such organizations as the National Center for Choreography at The University of Akron, Perseverance Theatre, and the Chicago Sinfonietta.

The meeting takes place at Constitution Center from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
