Pacific Chorale Unveils 2024-25 Season

Pacific Chorale has announced its 2024-25 season.

First up is the 16th annual Choral Festival at Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Performance Date: August 11, 2024

Then comes “To the Hands,” a theatrical performance directed by Marty Austin Lamar. Robert Istad conducts. The showcase features works by Caroline Shaw, Buxxtahude, Moira Smiley, Sarah Mclachlan, Kevin Siegfried, Ken Buron, Shawn Kirchner, and Ysaÿe Barnwell.

Performance Date: Sept. 14 & 15, 2024

Robert Istad conducts “Songs of the Soul,” a program featuring works by Toby Young, Pärt, Muhly, Jennifer Higdon, Sarah Quartel, and O’Regan.

Performance Date: Oct. 26, 2024

Then comes “Carols by Candlelight.”

Performance Date: Dec. 7 & 11, 2024

There will be a holiday concert “Tis the Season.” Robert Istad conducts.

Performance Date: Dec. 22 & 23, 2024

Kicking off the new year is “Exodus,” a performance of Händel’s “Israel in Egypt” alongside the Bach Collegium San Diego.

Performance Date: March 29, 2025

Robert Istad conducts Mozart’s Requiem in a program also featuring works by Brahms, Viet Cuong, and Runestad.

Performance Date: May 24, 2025
