The Opéra de Massy has unveiled its 2022-23 season.

Kicking things off, Armando Noguera, Ludivine Gombert, Sarah Laulan, Mireille Delunsch, and Simona Caressa star in Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” with Kaspar Zehnder and Alain Garichot directing.

Performance Dates: Nov. 11 & 13, 2022

Offenbach’s “Le Voyage dans le Lune” will star Violette Polchi, Jeanne Croussard, Ludivine Gombert, Mattheiu Lecroart, and Erik Freulon. Chloe Dufresne conducts and Olivier Fredj directs.

Performance Dates: Dec. 9 & 11, 2022

David Stern conducts “We are Eternal” with Julie Goussot, Eugenie Joneau, Guy Eliott, Lluis Calvet i Pey Halidou Nombre, and Dominic Gould.

Performance Date: Jan. 7, 2023

Gaspard Brecourt conducts Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” in a production by Eric Perez. Julie Goussot, Charlotte Despaux, Ania Wozniak, Jean Gabriel San Martin, Antoine Foulon, and Jean Miannay star.

Performance Dates: Jan. 13 & 15, 2023

Herve Niquet conducts a program of music by Rameau, Campra, Gretry and Monteclair with Patrice Thibaud, Axelle Fanyo, Romain Dayez, and Jean-Gabriel Saint-Martin.

Performance Dates: April 1 & 2, 2023  

Puccini’s “Turandot” will be conducted by Constantin Rouits and directed by Roberta Mattelli.

Performance Date: April 14-16, 2023

Bellini’s “La Sonnambula” will star Julia Muzychenko, Marco Ciaponi, Francesca Pia Vitale, Isabel de Paoli, Alexey Birkus, and Clarke Ruth. Beatrice Venezi conducts Francesca Lattuada’s production.

Concerts 

Patricia Petibon joins the Emsemble Amarillis in a program of music by Rebel, Charpentier, Marais, Leclair, Rameau, Lully, and Desmaret.

Vaclav Luks conducts Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.

The company will present “Un Monde Une Voix” with 20 international artists.

Karine Deshayes is joined by Benoit Rameau and Yara Kasti for an evening of melodies and opera.

Natalie Dessay and Philippe Cassard perform a recital of music by Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn, Alma Mahler, Jules Massenet, Claude Debussy, Francois Poulenc, Igor Stravinsky, and Charles Gounod.
