The Gran Teatre del Liceu has announced that Nadine Sierra and Ludovic Tézier will headline a concert on Feb. 18, 2026, replacing Renée Fleming, who has canceled her entire European tour due to knee surgery.

Fleming was set to perform on Dec. 12, and tickets for that concert will be valid for the exceptional recital on Feb. 18, 2026. Pianist Véronique Werklé will accompany Sierra and Tézier. 

The two will perform arias and duets from the Bel Canto and Verdi repertoire as well as the French repertoire.

In past seasons, at the Liceu, Sierra has performed “La traviata,” “La sonnambula,” and “West Side Story” while Tézier has performed “Manon Lescaut,” “Le nozze di Figaro,” “Pique Dame,” “Faust,” “La forza del destino,” “Macbeth,” and “Il trovatore.”
