Nadine Sierra is hinting at new roles that she is hoping to perform.

The soprano opened up with Platea Magazine about a particular Puccini role that she is inclined to take on.

She said, “What I’m going to add to my repertoire soon is Mimì, from Puccini’s ‘La bohème.’ I can’t wait to do it because it’s my favorite opera and I’ve been looking forward to debuting the role for a long time.”

She also suggested that she was going to perform Desdemona in Verdi’s “Otello” as well as Donizetti’s “Maria Stuarda” and “Anna Bolena.” According to Sierra, she will be performing “Maria Stuarda” in 2027.

Sierra said, “I need that period of time for my voice to continue growing. So far, it’s growing faster than I thought, but in a healthy and natural way.”

Sierra next performs “La Sonnambula” at the Gran Teatre del Liceu followed by “Manon” at the Paris Opera.
