Mirjam Helin Competition Selects 20 Semifinalists

The 20 singers were selected by a distinguished jury that includes Jorma Silvasti, Olaf Bär, Ben Heppner, Vesselina Kasarova, François Le Roux, Waltraud Meier, Deborah Polaski, and Kiri Te Kanawa.
The Semifinals will take place at the Helsinki Music Centre on May 25-26 and each performer will have to sing Finnish music, a group of solo songs and an aria. Each performer must sing for a max of 30 minutes.
