Mid-Ohio Civic Opera is set to present a Wagner gala on Jan. 27, 2024.

The concert will be held at The Mansfield Art Center at 7 pm and will include bass John Hines and contralto Heidi Skok in a program of Wagner arias and songs.

Skok has sung at The Metropolitan Opera as a soprano under James Levine. She has also performed with the Tulsa Opera. Meanwhile, Hines has performed in Italy, Austria, and Russia and has been called “The American Chaliapin.” He has also appeared at the Mariinsky Theatre, Bolshoi Theatre, and Kiev Theater.

The concert is free and open to the public with Donations accepted.
