Nova Linea Musica is set to present L’dor v’dor at Guarneri Hall in Chicago on May 6, 2027.

Pianist Jason Wirth accompanies soprano Michelle Areyzaga and mezzo-soprano Heather Johnson in the program celebrating the legacy and evolution of Jewish-American composers.

The cornerstone of the evening is the world premiere of David Hanlon’s “Ki Ger Anokhi Imakh,” a commission by Nova Linea Musica setting text from Psalm 39:13-14. The program also includes music by Leonard Bernstein, Ricky Ian Gordon, Gerald Cohen, Ben Moore, David Leisner, and Alex Weiser.

The showcase kicks off at 6:30 p.m. local time.
