Michael Spyres, Ben Bliss & Susanna Phillips Lead St. Louis Symphony’s 2024-25 Season

St. Louis Symphony has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a rundown of its vocal performances.

Stéphane Denève conducts Mozart’s Requiem with Dashon Burton, Kelly O’Connor, Joélle Harvey, and Ben Bliss. The program will also includes Mozart’s  Adagio and Fugue in C minor, K. 546 and Detlev Glanert’s Four Preludes and Serious Songs.

Performance Date: Nov. 9, 2024

Take 6 will perform alongside the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the IN UNISON Chorus. They will perform holiday music that includes gospel, jazz, and traditional favorites.
Performance Date: Dec. 13, 2024

Norman Huynh and Capathia Jenkins perform a holiday concert.

Performance Dates: Dec. 17 & 21, 2024

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the IN UNISON Chorus celebrate Black History Month. Baritone Brian Stokes Mitchell leads the concert with Kevin McBeth conducting. 

Performance Date: Feb. 28, 2025

Gemma New leads Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with Susanna Phillips, Sasha Cooke, Jamez McCorkle, and Brandon Cedel. The program also includes Kevin Puts’ Hymn to the Sun and Johann Sebastian Bach / arr. Edward Elgar’s Fantasia and Fugue in C minor, BWV 537.

Performance Date: March 1, 2025

Stéphane Denève and Michael Spyres perform in a concerts featuring music Debussy, Britten, Mahler and Liszt.

Performance Date: March 28, 2025

Stéphane Denève conducts Grieg’s “Peer Gynt” with Camilla Tilling, and Vidar Skrede.

Performance Date: May 3, 2025
