Ying Fang, Russell Thomas & Heidi Melton Lead St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s 2023-24 Season

St. Louis Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2023-24 season.

Here is a look at the vocal performances of the season.

James Gaffigan conducts Mascagni’s “Cavalleria Rusticana” with Heidi Melton, Meredith Arwady, Antonio Poli, and Brian Mulligan.

Performance Dates: Nov. 11 & 12, 2023

Kevin McBeth conducts IN UNISON Chorus in a concert Gospel Christmas.

Performance Dates: Dec. 8, 2023

Stéphane Denève conducts Orff’s “Carmina Burana” with Ying Fang, Sunnyboy Dladla, and Thomas Lehman. The program also includes Arvo Pärt’s Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten, Lera Auerbach’s Icarus, and Richard Wagner’s “Liebestod” from “Tristan and Isolde.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 17 & 18, 2024

Kevin McBeth conducts IN UNISON Chorus in a program entitled Lift Every Voice.

Performance Dates: Feb. 23, 2024

Stéphane Denève conducts operatic favorites with soloists Erin Schreiber and Melissa Brooks.

Performance Date: March 3, 2024

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra season comes to a close with Stéphane Denève conducting Verdi’s Requiem. The concert stars Hulkar Sabirova, Judit Kutasi, Russell Thomas, and Adam Palka.

Performance Dates: April 27 & 28, 2024
