
Michael Nansel to Headline Light Opera of New Jersey’s ‘Rigoletto’
By David SalazarLight Opera of New Jersey will present Verdi’s “Rigoletto” on Feb. 7 and 8, 2026.
The production, led by conductor Jason Tramm, is set to take place at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. It stars baritone Michael Nansel in the title role and soprano Jordan Bowman appears as Gilda. As the Duke of Mantua, audiences will see tenor Nathan Snyder. Bass-baritone Valerian Ruminski performs the role of Sparafucile and mezzo-soprano Christina Lamberti is Maddalena.
The Feb. 7 showcase kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and the performance on Feb. 8, 2026 commences at 2:30 p.m.
The company recently presented productions of “L’Elisir d’Amore” and “The Barber of Seville.”
