Michael Fabiano Reveals Upcoming Roles

Michael Fabiano has revealed plans to expand his repertoire in the next few years.

The tenor, who recently moved to Spain, told Opera Actual that in the next four or five months, he will sing the role of Des Grieux in Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut.” He also said that he plans on singing the title roles of “Lohengrin” and “Parsifal.”

Fabiano is currently in Barcelona for a production of Massenet’s  “Manon.” He is set to return to the San Francisco Opera for a production of “Madama Butterfly” and the 100th-anniversary gala. Next season he returns to the Staatsoper Berlin for a production of “Tosca” and the Metropolitan Opera for a new production of “Carmen.”
