ArtSmart is set to present a 10th anniversary gala in New York City on Oct. 20, 2025.

The showcase, which is set to take place at National Sawdust in Brooklyn, will feature co-founder Michael Fabiano performing alongside soprano Nadine Sierra.

The duo has performed several times over the years, including in 2019 for an ArtSmart performance, “A Passion for Song” at the Merkin Hall at the Kaufmann Center.

Next up on Fabiano’s schedule is a series of performances of “Turandot” at the Metropolitan Opera. Meanwhile, Nadine Sierra is gearing up for a new production of “La Sonnambula,” directed by Rolando Villazón, also at the Metropolitan Opera.

For 10 years, ArtSmart has provided tuition-free music lessons and mentorship by paid artists to youth in under-resources communities across the United States. The organization recently announced the appointment of Ahmad Mayes to the position of Executive Director.
