Michael Butler Joins IMG Artists For General Management

Tenor Michael Butler has joined the roster of IMG Artists.
Michael will be represented by Executive Vice President and Global Head of Vocal Matthew Horner.
In a statement, Butler said, “I am beyond excited about this new partnership! Matthew has been a dear friend and trusted mentor for some time, and I feel honoured to join the IMGA family and this superstar roster!
Butler recently made his Washington National Opera debut as the Mission Coordinator in the world premiere of Jeanine Tesori’s “Grounded,” a role which he also sang in the workshop of the same piece at The Metropolitan Opera. He also made his international debut at the Teatro Regio di Torino in “The Tender Land.”
He has performed with the Merola Opera Program, Juilliard School, and Washington Opera Society. Next season, he is set to join the Bayerische Staatsoper’s Opera Studio.
