Metro Opera Tech Postpones Inauguration

By Francisco Salazar

The Metro Opera Tech has postponed its inaugural concert.

The company said that “due to unforeseen challenges involving its cast members and other critical factors, it was faced with the difficult decision to postpone our opening.”

The company added, “This decision is necessary to ensure that the exceptional talents we have assembled are presented in the most exceptional manner possible.”

The Metro Opera Tech was set to open its doors on Nov. 3 at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater and would be the newest in New York City. The company’s orchestra is comprised of professors, many of whom are regularly active with esteemed ensembles like the New York Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and the New York State Symphony, united under the Metro Opera Tech Orchestra.
