Merola Opera Program will present “A Grand Night for Singing: An American Songfest” on June 26, 2025.

The showcase will feature the 2025 Merola artists, both singers and pianists, performing a program curated by Ronny Michael Greenburg, pianist and Merola alum. The aim of the program is to explore songs from over 250 years of American history.

The program will encompass a broad spectrum of American music, from timeless classics to lesser-known gems. This performance offers an opportunity to experience the depth and variety of American song through the expressive voices and musical interpretations of emerging opera talent, serving as both a celebration of American musical heritage and a glimpse into the future of opera and vocal music,” says the official press release describing the event.

The performance kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time and will take place at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Caroline H. Hume Concert Hall.
