Matthew Hill & Amy Broadbent Headline Annapolis Opera’s ‘Expressions of Love’

Annapolis Opera will present “Expressions of Love,” an outdoor recital in the William Paca Garden in Annapolis, on June 7.

The showcase, kicks off at at 3 p.m., features music by Gluck, Mozart, Verdi, and others performed by tenor Matthew Hill and soprano Amy Broadbent.

Hill has performed with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, American Bach Soloists, and Washington Bach Consort. He serves as enlisted conductor and music director of the U.S. Air Force Singing Sergeants.

Meanwhile, Broadbent has appeared at the Oregon Bach Festival, Washington National Cathedral, and the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, among others. She serves as soprano vocalist and associate conductor of the U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters. The two are founding members of the vocal quartet The Polyphonists.
