The Annapolis Opera has announced its 2025-26 season.

The season opens with a Season Opening Celebration: Black and White Gala.

Performance Date: Sept. 11, 2025

Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” will return to the company for the first time in 23 years.

Performance Dates: Oct. 31 & Nov. 2, 2025

Humperdinck’s “Hansel and Gretel” will be performed in a reduced version, featuring a full

orchestra.

Performance Dates: March 13-15 2026

Recitals & More 

The season will also include Opera Up-Close, an intimate recital series featuring some of the company’s favorite Annapolis Opera artists. The performances will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how each artist curates their program.

Performance Dates: Oct. 5 & Nov. 16, 2025 & May 3, 2026

There will also be a New Work Reading—a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of a new opera.

Performance Date: Feb. 22, 2026

The 38th Annual Vocal Competition will also be held.
