Maryann Kyle, Stacey Trenteseaux, Tjaden Cox Headline Natchez Festival of Music 2020

The Natchez Festival of Music has unveiled its 30th anniversary season. For the purposes of this article, our focus will be on vocal highlights of the Mississippi-based showcase.

The festival will present a concert at the Stanton Guest House that focuses on the music of Rossini and Puccini. It will be performed voice students of the Alcorn University.

Soprano Stacey Trentescaux and pianist Zhaolei Xie will come together for a recital of music by Gershwin, Strauss, Debussy, Bizet, Dvorak, Puccini, Weill, Sondheim, and more.

The Natchez Festival of music will come to a close with the 30th anniversary festival, entitled “String of Pearls.” The performance will celebrate the company’s lengthy history with musical moments from some of its most renowned productions, including “La Traviata,” ”Oklahoma,” “La Bohème,” “My Fair Lady,” “Rigoletto,” and “Man of la Mancha,” among others. The soloists will include sopranos Maryann Kyle, Stacey Trenteseaux, Tjaden Cox, and Jessica Medoff-Bunchman; tenor Peter Lake, Lake, and baritone Patrick McNally, with Dr. Jay Dean conducting the Natchez Festival of Music Chamber Orchestra.
