Marquee TV to Present Deutsche Oper Berlin’s New Ring Cycle

Starting on May 13, 2022, Marquee TV will present Deutsche Oper Berlin’s new production of Wagner’s epic Ring Cycle.

This new interpretation is said to utilize the journeys of individual characters to reflect the values of our society, reintroducing the cycle for a 21st century audience.

Directed by Stefan Herheim and conducted by leading Wagnerian expert Sir Donald Runnicles, this production of Wagner’s famed tetralogy will feature a cast comprised of artists such as Nina Stemme as Brünnhilde, Clay Hilley as Siegfried, Elisabeth Teige as Sieglinde, Brandon Jovanovich as Siegmund, Thomas Blondelle as Loge, Markus Bruck and Jordan Shanahan as Alberich, Derek Welton as Iain Paterson as Wotan, Annika Schlict as Fricka, Ya-Chung Huang as Mime and Albert Pesendorfer as Hagen.

Marquee TV recently launched on Amazon Prime.
