Marie-Nicole Lemieux takes on the title role in Marc-Antoine Charpentier and Thomas Corneille’s “Medea.” Petr Nekoranec, Juliette Mey, Frédéric Caton, Etienne Bazola, Camille Poul, and Claire Lefilliâtre perform with the Namur Chamber Choir and Les Épopées. Stéphane Fuget conducts.

Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” features Clara Guillon, Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian, and Theo Hoffman with the Choir of the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera, Goyang Festival Choir, and Junior Opera Choir. Anne Lopez is the stage director and choreographer. Noëlle Gény and Guilhem Rosa are choir directors. Roderick Cox conducts the National Orchestra of Montpellier Occitanie

The French premiere of “Hwajeonga” is presented in a co-production with the Korean National Opera. A Kyeong Lee, Sun Jung Kim, Min Kyoung Kim, Yeeun Oh, Miyoung Lee, Sang Ah Yoon, Sujung Kim, Eunkyong Lim, and Jegyung Yang make up the cast. Youngdoo Jung is responsible for staging and choreography. Noëlle Gény leads the Choir of the Montpellier Occitanie National Opera and An-Hoon Song conducts.

Antonio de Literes’s “Los Elementos” features Ai Horton, Pauline Gaillard, Tibbe Alkemade, Paul-Émile Burgevin, Antonina Stepanova, and Nicole Franco with the Young European Baroque Orchestra. Margaux Blanchard and Sylvain Sartre serve as co-artistic directors.

Theodor Akimenko’s “The Fairy’s Kiss” gets its world premiere 150 years after the composer’s birth. Maciej Kwaśnikowski, Norma Nahoun, Charlotte Bonnet, Michèle Bréant, Armando Noguera, Olivier Lagarde, Alejandro Fonte, Myriam Bouhzada, Hyoungsub Kim, Laurent Sérou, and Jean-Philippe Elleouët make up the cast. Giorgio Pesenti, Giulia Bruschi, Riccardo Mainetti, Matteo Castiglioni, Elena Patacchini, and Mathieu Cabanes are the creative team. Noëlle Gény is the choir director and Kirill Karabits is the musical director.

The world premiere of Diana Syrse and Carlos José Pérez Sámano’s opera, “Hotel Moctezuma” stars Sophia Burgos, Fabien Hyon, and Carlos Reynoso. Sets and scenography are by Agata Skwarczyńska, Jean Hostache is the choreographer, and costumes are by Edyta Jermacz. Ewa Rucińska is in charge of staging. Noëlle Gény and Sonia Ben-Santamaria conduct.
