Mariangela Sicilia has joined Askonas Holt for general management.

She will be managed at Askonas Holt by Joel Thomas, Angelica Conner, and Matt Palmer.

Sicilia is a prizewinner at the 2014 Operalia Competition and a graduate of the Academy of the Aix-en-Provence Festival and the Rossini Academy of Pesaro.

This season the soprano makes her Teatro alla Scala debut singing the lead role in “La Rondine.” She also sings Rachel in “La Juive” at Teatro Regio di Torino, Donna Elvira in “Don Giovanni” at Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and Mimì in “La bohème” at both the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Macerata Opera Festival.

Throughout her career, she has performed at teh Arena di Verona, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
