Maria Brea, Melanie Spector, Eric Botto, Joseph Canuto Leon Among Headliners of ‘La Bohème’ Reading at The Church of the Village in NYC

Composer and Florida Grand Opera conductor Felix Jarrar will lead a public concert reading of Puccini’s “La Bohème” on Monday, May 26, 2025 at New York City’s The Church of the Village.

The opera will star Maria Brea as Mimì with Melanie Spector as Musetta. Eric Botto will be Rodolfo, and Joseph Canuto Leon will be Marcello, Evan Fleming will be Schaunard, and Matthew Curran will be Colline. Joining them will be Jared Peroune and Ian Cedric Joyal, each taking on a wide range of roles.

Jarrar will conduct.

The concert will be free for all and starts at 5 p.m. local time. No RSVP is required.
