Maria Brea & Dane Suarez to Headline Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra Showcase

By David Salazar

The Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra is set to present a concert of opera selections starring Maria Brea and Dane Suarez on June 15, 2025 at the Brooklyn Museum.

The program, which will be conducted by Felipe Tristan, features music by Verdi, Leoncavallo, Puccini, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.

“I’m thrilled to work with two fantastic artists for this concert with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra. Both Maria Brea and Dane Suare are doing a great job with the program that we have prepared and I’m sure the audience will love them as much as the orchestra and myself have. It has been a delight for me to collaborate with them,” Tristan told OperaWire.

The showcase kicks off at 2 p.m. and has a duration of approximately 90 minutes.
