Upcoming performances starring soprano Manuela Ipate, baritone Mihai Damian, tenor Stefan von Korch have been announced.

The trio will serve as soloists in Carl Orff’s “Carmina Burana” along with the Choir and Orchestra of the Transylvania State Philharmonic. Cornel Groza is the choir director and the orchestra will be directed by David Crescenzi. This performance is slated for Jan 17 at the Transylvania State Philharmonic in Cluj Napoca.

Later von Korch will be heard in the “Operetta Love Story” concert at the National Theatre of Operetta and Musical “Ion Dacian” in Bucharest. He will perform arias and duets from “Romeo and Juliet,” “The Elixir of Love,” and other thematic works. The orchestra will be conducted by kapellmeister Geanina Meragiu with violin in hand. This concert is scheduled for Feb. 13.
