Ştefan von Korch Makes Bucharest Opereta Lounge Debut

Tenor Ștefan von Korch is set to make his Bucharest Opereta Lounge debut in “Granada-Mediterranean Echoes Concert” on May 30.

Von Korch and pianist Alexandru Burcă will present a Mediterranean-influenced concert, featuring “Granada” and “Valencia,” “Jurname,” “No puede ser,” “O Sole Mio,” and more.

The tenor said in a press release, “I am delighted to share the music with the audience in this very special setting, with an eclectic, yet very welcoming atmosphere called Opereta Lounge. It will be a very special concert with a ‘best of’ selection of the the most beloved songs that reflect the warm spirit of Spanish and Italian music, from the classical to the modern repertoire.”

The Bucharest Opereta Lounge which opened on April 11 is a new cultural and social hub located in the National Theatre of Operetta and Musical Ion Dacian. The inaugural event “Tango Passion” featured live tango music and dance performances.
