The Atlanta Opera is set to open its 2025-26 mainstage season with Verdi’s “La traviata.”

The opera will be presented with a starry cast that includes Mané Galoyan as Violetta, Long Long as Alfredo, and Anthony Clark Evans as Germont. Evan Rogister conducts the masterpiece.

In a statement, General Director Tomer Zvulun said, “We are excited to bring back Francesca Zambello’s sumptuous production featuring some of the most dazzling voices of our time — soprano Mané Galoyan, tenor Long Long, and baritone Anthony Clark Evans. Of particular note is the debut of Evan Rogister on the podium. This promises to be a terrific run.”

The opera will be performed four times on Nov. 8, 11, 14, and 16 at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. The Nov. 14 performance will be livestreamed by The Atlanta Opera Film Studio and will be offered free with email registration.
