LYRICO to Present ‘A Very Operatic Christmas’

LYRICO is set to present “A Very Operatic Christmas” this December.

There will be a performance on Dec. 4, 2022, at the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier in Montréal, with an additional show scheduled for Dec. 11 at the Grand Théâtre du Québec.

The group, which features Marco Bocchicchio, Sam Champagne, and Ian Sabourin, will take on a wide range of holiday favorites, including “O Holy Night,” “The First Noel,” and many more. They will also present several classical music favorites, including the Brindisi from “La Traviata,” “Funiculì, Funiculà,” and “Core N’grato,” among others.

Francis Choiniere will conduct the Orchestra and Choir.

LYRICO was formed in 2021 and has been featured in Global News, PBS News, iHeartRadio, LaPresse, MTL.org, Ludwig Van Montreal, La Scena Musicale, The Suburban, Westmountmag.ca, Inspiration Classique, les Artszé, and the Montrealer, among others.
