Louis Langrée Joins Prague Summer Nights 2026 as Guest Artist

French conductor Louis Langrée has joined Prague Summer Nights 2026 as a distinguished Guest Artist for a one-week residency in Tábor.

The summer program will run from June 20 to 27 and Langrée will conduct the PSN Orchestra in rehearsals and a symphonic performance. He will also work with assistant conductors, give a masterclass and insights on different topics. The conductor will also be in attendance for opera staging rehearsals to listen to your artists.

Langrée is a specialist in opera, orchestra, and Mozart and currently serves as Director of the Théâtre National de l’Opéra-Comique in Paris. He has also led the Mostly Mozart Festival at Lincoln Center for over two decades, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as Music Director for more than a decade. He has also conducted at the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro alla La Scala, Royal Opera House, Berlin Philharmonic, and Vienna Philharmonic.
