Los Angeles Master Chorale Unveils 2025-26 Season

Los Angeles Master Chorale has announced its 2025-26 season.

First up is “Two Titans: The Music of Beethoven and Verdi.” The concert features Beethoven’s Mass in C major and Verdi’s “Four Sacred Pieces.” Grant Gershon conducts the performance.

Performance Date: Oct. 5, 2025


Next up is “LA Sings! What a Beautiful City,” which features a sing-along opportunity. Gershon and Rachael Worby conduct. The performance showcases the talents of MUSE/IQUE.

Performance Date: Nov. 9, 2025


Gershon leads  a performance of “Before and After Nature.” The program includes Lang’s eponymous work. Bang on a Can All-Stars also perform.

Performance Date: Nov. 16, 2025


Then comes the “English Cathedral Mass which features British choral works from the 16th century through the present. Gershon conducts.

Performance Date: Dec. 14, 2025


There will be a “Carol for Kids” performance. Gershon will also lead a “Festival of Carols.”

Performance Date: Dec. 20, 2025


Händel’s “Messiah” gets a performance with Gershon conducting.

Performance Date: Dec. 21, 2025


There will be a “Messiah Sing-Along.”

Performance Date: Dec. 21, 2025


Jenny Wong leads “Common Ground: The Music of Górecki and Jeff Beal.” The program includes the former’s “Miserere” and the latter’s “The Beatitudes.”

Performance Date: Feb. 1, 2026


Closing out the season is Mozart’s “Requiem” with Gershon conducting. Also on the program is Fanny Mendelssohn’s “Oratorio,” also known as the “Cholera Cantata.”

Performance Date: April 19, 2026
