The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special concert on April 14, 2025 at Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

The concert, which will be conducted by Dr. Noreen Green, will feature “Symphony of the Holocaust” by Holocaust survivor Shony Alex Braun and “Andrea Clearfield’s “Prayer. The work is headlined by soprano Cantor Lisa Peicott and tenor Cantor Ilan Davidsen.

The concert also includes works by Marc Lavry, Lucas Richman, and Kurt Weill, among others.

“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Wilshire Blvd Temple, in the room where it all started for the LAJS. The newly remodeled Sanctuary at the Brentwood campus was the site of our debut concert! Wonderful memories of our early years flood my soul, and I look forward to sharing those memories and creating new ones,” Dr. Green said in an official press statement.

The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
