London Mozart Players Names New Chief Executive

The London Mozart Players (LMP) has announced the appointment of Chrissy Kinsella as their new Chief Executive, effective January 2026.

Kinsella, who joins the organization from the London Music Fund, takes over for Flynn Le Brocq, who stepped down in Summer 2025 after four years of leadership. Kinsella assumes her role midway through LMP’s 2025-26 season, which is also Jonathan Bloxham’s first as Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor.

“I’m delighted to be joining London Mozart Players as their new CEO at this exciting time,” Kinsella said per an official press release. “I’ve long admired LMP’s rich history as one of the UK’s leading chamber orchestras, and its deep commitment to the communities it serves. Having lived in South London for 15 years, I feel a strong connection to this part of the city, and to the values that underpin LMP’s work. I look forward to working with Jonathan Bloxham, the Board, players and management team to shape the next chapter in the orchestra’s remarkable story.”

During Kinsella’s tenure at the London Music Fund, a charity dedicated to expanding access to music education for young people from low socio-economic backgrounds, the organization was recognized with the “Outstanding Musical Initiative” award at the 2021 Music & Drama Education Awards for providing over 1,000 scholarships to aspiring musicians. She is also a trained professional singer and holds a Master’s in Music Education with Distinction from UCL’s Institute of Education. She has also published research on the impact of COVID-19 on community music-making.

The London Mozart Players, founded over 75 years ago by Harry Blech, are the UK’s oldest chamber orchestra.
