The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Performance Dates: Sept. 26 & 27, 2024

Sir Simon Rattle conducts music by De Falla, Golijov, Bernstein, and Stravinsky. The performance features Rinat Shaham, Katia und Marielle Labèque, Christopher Patrick Corbett, Stefan Schilling, Raphaël Séguinier, and Gonzalo Grau.

Performance Dates: Oct. 4 & 5, 2024

Sir Simon Rattle conducts the second act of Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” with Stuart Skelton, Lise Davidsen, Karen Cargill, Franz-Josef Selig, and Sean Michael Plumb.

Performance Dates: Nov. 1 & 3, 2024

Herbert Blomstedt conducts music by Stravinsky and Mendelssohn with Christina Landshamer, Marie Henriette Reinhold, and Tilman Lichdi.

Performance Dates: Jan. 10 & 11, 2025

Sir Simon Rattle conducts music by Bach with Carolyn Sampson, Tim Mead, Thomas Hobbs, and Konstantin Krimmel.

Performance Date: Feb. 9, 2025

Sir Simon Rattle conducts Brahms’ “German Requiem” with Lucy Crowe and Andrè Schuen. The program also includes music by Mark Anthony Turnage.

Performance Dates: Feb. 13 &14, 2025

Daniel Harding conducts Mahler’s “Das Lied von der Erde” with Fleur Barron and Andrew Staples. The program also includes Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5.

Performance Dates: March 6-11, 2025

Sir Simon Rattle, Stefan Tischler, Norbert Ommer, and the Bavarian Radio Chorus perform music by Helmut Lachenmann, Luciano Berio, and Pierre Boulez.

Performance Date: March 22, 2025

Ariane Matiakh conducts soprano Christel Loetzsch and violinist Renaud Capuçon in a program of music by Pascal Dusapin.

Performance Date: April 25, 2025

Simone Young conducts Maria Bengtsson and Michael Volle in Webern, Berg, and Zemlinsky.

Performance Dates: May 15 & 16, 2025

Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Bavarian Radio Chorus in a program of music by Pierre Boulez, Francis Poulenc, and Maurice Ravel.

Ferruccio Busoni’s Concerto for piano and orchestra with male choir will be performed by Esa-Pekka Salonen, Igor Levit, and Bavarian Radio Chorus.
