The Light Opera of New Jersey announces its 2026-27 lineup.

The season opens with the Youth Ensemble Concert which features arias, art songs, and musical theatre selections, ranging from Mozart to Sondheim. Susan Speidel directs. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge hosts.

Performance Date: October 10, 2026

Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors” is next. Performances are held at the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Performance Dates: Dec. 5 & 6, 2026

The 2027 season kicks off with Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro.”

Performance Date: March 2027

The “Stars of Tomorrow” competition is held

Performance Date: May 2027

Wildhorn and Cuden’s “Jekyll & Hyde” is next.

Performance Date: June 2027

The season ends with Gilbert and Sullivan’s “Iolanthe.”

Performance Date: November 2027
