Les Talens Lyriques Unveils 2026-27 Season

Les Talens Lyriques announces its 2026-27 lineup.

Here’s a look at the opera events.

Key’mon Murrah presents “Handelian Heroes” with Les Talens Lyriques under the direction of Christophe Rousset.

Performance Dates: June 18 & 26, 2026 (Festival de Saint-Denis, Rencontres musicales d’Évian)


Händel’s “Ariodante” stars Eve-maud Hubeaux, Marie Lys, Michèle Bréant, Margherita Maria, Nick Pritchard, and Nahuel Di Pierro. They are joined by Les Talens Lyriques led by Christophe Rousset.

Performance Date: July 4, 2026


The Chœur De Chambre De Namur led by Thibaut Lenaerts and Les Talens Lyriques under the direction of Christophe Rousset present Charpentier’s and Campra’s “Requiem.”

Performance Dates: Aug. 20 & 22 (Vézelay, La Chaise Dieu Festivals) & Oct. 3 & 6, 2026 (Amsterdam, Namur)


Marie Lys, Iestyn Davies, Alice Coote, Hugo Hymas, John Chest, Jonathan Hanley, and The Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra present Händel’s “Theodora.” Christophe Rousset conducts.

Performance Dates: Nov. 2-19, 2026 (Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Brazil, France, Italy, UK)


Marie-Eve Munger, Beth Taylor, Sebastian Kohlhepp, Luca Tittoto, and Riccardo Donati, and del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and Orchestra del Teatro present a concert featuring Mozart. Christophe Rousset conducts.

Performance Date: Nov. 28, 2026 (Italy)


Abel Zamora and pianist Florent Albrecht perform in Anna Olkhovaya’s “Leçon de danses historiques.”

Performance Date: Dec. 13, 2026


Key’mon Murrah and Irina Sherazadishvili serve as soloists in Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater” under the direction of Christophe Rousset.

Performance Dates: Jan. 21 & 29, 2027 (Brussels, Toulouse)


Liv Redpath, Jamie Barton, Andrew Staples, and Ryan Speedo Green solo with The Clarion Choir in Schubert’s “Mass” no. 2 and Mozart’s “Requiem.” Steven Fox directs the choir and Christophe Rousset conducts the Orchestra of St. Luke’s.

Performance Date: Feb. 11 2027 (New York)


Francesca Aspromonte and Federico Fiorio star in “Monteverdi / Cavalli” under the direction of Christophe Rousset.

Performance Dates: March 2 & 16, 2027 (LA Zipper Hall, Rouen)


Alisa Kolosova, Anna El-khashem, Mélissa Petit, Anle Gou, and Eleonora Bellocci perform in Mozart’s “Ascanio in Alba” with the Chœur De L’opéra De Zurich. Klaas-jan De Groot serves as chorusmater. Christophe Rousset conducts.

Performance Dates: March 13 & 30, 2027 (Zurich Opernhaus)


Rameau’s “Hippolyte et Aricie” features Reinoud Van Mechelen and Marie Lys in the titles roles. They are joined by Aphrodite Patoulidou, Christian Immler, Juliette Mey, Neima Fischer, Philippe Estèphe, Lysandre Châlon, Kieran White, Jordan Mouaïssia, and Adrien Fournaison,
and the Chœur De Chambre De Namur led by Thibaut Lenaerts. Christophe Rousset conducts.

Performance Dates: April 11, 19, & 23, 2027 (Paris Philharmonie, London Barbican, Milan La Scala)


Mélissa Petit, Ambroisine Bré, Petr Nekoranec, Lysandre Châlon, and the Chœur De Chambre De Namur perform in Ramaeu’s “Les Indes galantes.” Thibaut Lenaerts is the chorusmaster and Christophe Rousset condcuts.

Performance Dates: May 20 & 23, 2027 (Opéra de Dijon, Megaron Concert Hall)


Christophe Rousset directs the modern premiere of Steibelt’s “Romeo & Juliette” with Cyrille Dubois and Mélissa Petit in the title roles. Mathieu Lécroart, Emma Fekete, Mathias Vidal, Jean Kristof Bouton, François Rougier, and the Chœur De La Radio Flamande join.

Performance Dates: June 27, 2027 (Paris Theatre des Champs-Elysees)
