Opera Lafayette has announced its 2025-26 season.

First up is “Dido and Aeneas” starring Mary Elizabeth Williams, Elijah McCormack, and Chelsea Helm. Patrick Quigley conducts the Opera Lafayette Orchestra.

Performance Dates: Oct. 16, 2025 (Washington DC), Oct. 20, 2025 (NYC)

Then comes “Queen of Hearts,” a Valentine’s Day revel. Nic McGegan leads the concert, which features Maya Kherani and James Reese.

Performance Dates: Feb. 12, 2026 (Washington DC), Feb. 13, 2026 (NYC)

Lauren Snouffer headlines “New Woman,” a piece with music by Marianna Martines and Maria Antonia Walpurgis. She also takes on arias by Gluck and J.C. Bach. Also on the program is Haydn’s Symphony No. 63.

Performance Dates: April 30 & May 1, 2026 (Washington DC), May 2, 2026 (NYC)
