La Jolla Symphony & Chorus Announces ‘By the Heart’ Performance
By David SalazarThe La Jolla Symphony & Chorus is set to present “By the Hearth” on Dec. 3, 2023.
The sing-along concert will continue the organization’s annual presentation of Händel’s “Messiah,” with audiences invited to join in.
Arian Khaefi, La Jolla Symphony & Chorus’ Sally and Einar Gall Music Director and Chorus Conductor, will lead the event, which takes place at The Village Community Presbyterian Church in San Diego, California.
“I’m thrilled to open my ‘Messiah’ score for the first time on the west coast, and with a stellar cast of soloists, players and singers,” Khaefi said in an official press statement. “I cannot wait to share in our community’s joy as we bring these beloved choruses, recits, and arias off the page.”
