Baritone Konstantin Krimmel is set to present a recital at Park Avenue Armory.

Krimmel makes his North American recital debut with pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz in a program of lieder inspired by their
recent album “Mythos.” The album includes music by Schubert and Loewe and a song cycle by Vaughan Williams.

The baritone received his first musical training with the St. Georgs Chorknaben in Ulm and began his vocal studies with Prof. Teru Yoshihara. He has won numerous competitions, including the 2019 German Music Competition as well as 1st prize at the International Helmut Deutsch Lied Competition, 2nd prize at the International Singing Competition ‘Das Lied’ in Heidelberg, and the Gian Battista Viotti International Music Competition. He has been a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper since the fall of 2021 and since 2019, Krimmel is an exclusive artist of the French label Alpha.

The recital is set to take place on Feb. 22 & 24, 2025.
