Klaus Florian Vogt, Emily D’Angelo, Sara Blanch & Magdalena Kožená Lead Staatskapelle Dresden’s 2026-27 Season

The Staatskapelle Dresden has announced its 2026-27 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Joshua Weilerstein conducts Regula Mühlemann in the AdventKonzert.

Performance Date: Nov. 29, 2026


Marie Jacquot conducts Emily D’Angelo and Igor Levit in works by Ravel and Beethoven. 

Performance Date: Dec. 30-31, 2026


Daniele Gatti conducts Marie-Nicole Lemieux  and Klaus Florian Vogt in a program of Mahler and Widman. 

Performance Dates: Jan. 17-19, 2027


Martin Lehmann conducts Mozart’s “Messe in C Moll.”

Performance Date: Feb. 2, 2027


Herbert Blomstedt conducts a Brahms programs including his “Nänie.”

Performance Dates: Feb. 13-14, 2027


Daniele Gatti conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 including Sara Blanch, Christa Mayer, Bernard Richter, and Georg Zeppenfeld. The program also includes Strauss’ “Metamorphosen.”

Performance Dates: March 21-22, 2027


Riccardo Minasi conducts Rudolf Buchbinder and the Staatsopernchors Dresden in music by Mozart, Mendelssohn, and Wranitzky.

Performance Dates: May 16-18, 2027


Maxim Emelyanychev conducts Magdalena Kožená in a program of Haydn, Shostakovich, and Schnittke.

Performance Date: June. 23, 2027
