Kelli O’Hara is headed to the Los Angeles Opera on Feb. 1, 2025.
The famed Tony Award-winner will perform alongside the LA Opera and conductor Bob Bernhardt in a concert that also features musical direction and a solo piano performance by Dan Lipton.
O’Hara is an icon of Broadway, but she has also made history as the first artist to crossover into the opera world when she headlined “The Merry Widow” alongside Renée Fleming in a 2015 production. She made subsequent returns to the Met Opera in 2018 in a new production of “Così fan tutte” and then in 2022 for the world premiere of “The Hours;” she would reprise that production in 2024.
The concert kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
