Katharina Kammerloher to Present Chaminade Recital at Berlin State Opera

Mezzo-soprano Katharina Kammerloher will present a recital of French song on June 9, 2026 in the Apollo Hall of the Berlin State Opera.

The mezzo will will be joined by violinist Martha Cohen and pianist Johann Blanchard in a program that centers on Cécile Chaminade‘s song cycle “Saisons d’amour.”

Kammerloher has performed at the Berlin State Opera since 1993, appearing in leading roles in such operas as “Il Barbiere di Siviglia,” “Pelléas et Mélisande,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “Der Rosenkavalier,” “Falstaff,” and “Der Ring des Nibelungen,” among many others. She has also performed at Salzburg Festival, the Munich Opera Festival, the BBC Proms, among other organizations.

The performance kicks off at 8 p.m. local time.
