Kartal Karagedik Joins Hilbert Artists Management

Baritone Kartal Karagedik has joined the roster of Hilbert Artist Management for General Management.

Karagedik is a Turkish singer who has performed at leading opera houses and festivals, including the Hamburg State Opera, Opéra Vlaanderen, Savonlinna Opera Festival, Grand Théâtre de Genève, Opéra de Monte Carlo, Torre del Lago Puccini Festival, and Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

The baritone has sung over 40 roles, including Renato in “Un ballo in maschera,” Simon Boccanegra, Don Giovanni, Count Almaviva in “Le nozze di Figaro,” Germont in  “La traviata,” Enrico in “Lucia di Lammermoor,” Zurga in “Les pêcheurs de perles,” and Rodrigo in “Don Carlo,” among others.

This upcoming season, Karagedik will make his role debut as Amfortas in “Parsifal” at the Opéra Vlaanderen and will appear as Giorgio Germont in Verdi’s “La Traviata,” Prince Yeletsky in Tchaikovsky’s “Pique Dame,” Sharpless in Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly,” and Peter in Humperdinck’s “Hänsel und Gretel” at the Hamburg State Opera.
